Over a decade ago, I found yoga when I stepped on my mat in a hot yoga class, and it changed my life.  This was the first time in my life that I was able to turn my mind off from whatever I did that day or had to do the next, get in touch with my body, and find mental and emotional clarity.  That feeling was incredible, and I have been practicing ever since.  The urge to share this with others led me to receive my 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training from Yama Yoga in April of 2019.

As I continue my career in finance in corporate America, I recognize the need for mental, physical and emotional well-being.  I love to sweat and detox, in combination with a great yoga practice.  I also understand the importance of taking care of yourself and accepting your limits, whatever they may be – stepping on your mat is about you and where you are in the moment and being content with yourself and your practice.
