
Practicing yoga for me is that one hour each day that I think of nothing at all. I have a fairly busy life like most others and find myself almost sleeping after five minutes in savasana. I am also a runner/biker that gets up really early to work out while the birds are still chirping so I also understand those that come to a yoga class looking for a workout. I hope students in my class will enjoy the physical benefits of the practice as well as the quiet it can provide for the mind.
I gravitate more towards classical, traditional yoga poses and then try to shake them up a little based on what I have learned from my teachers and my practice. I also like to practice to funky music and will try to encourage you to smile throughout your practice (it really helps, I swear!).
Other than practicing yoga, I love to travel around Wisconsin and want to visit every state park. I also love supporting and visiting local farms and would love to be a farmer at some point in my life - beyond the huge vegetable garden in my backyard.
