Having always been a spiritual person, I feel as if yoga has been a driving force in my life before I ever stepped on a mat. I was drawn to a physical practice in 2007. What began as a hope for stress management and to reduce the risk of injury, has grown into a passion. I am inspired by many different types of yoga and try to incorporate them into my classes. I believe in allowing my students to explore a dynamic and purposeful practice and encouraging them to be their true genuine selves on and off the mat. I believe in using intelligent sequencing with emphasis on linking movement with breath, paving the way for students to get into their bodies and move beyond their minds staying focused on their true intentions.
I completed my 200 hour teacher training at Yoga One Studio in 2010, which has deeply influenced my teaching style as well as my personal practice. I am so grateful to have found yoga and feel truly honored to share my enthusiasm and love for yoga with others.
