Kat began her yoga journey when she was 12 years old. Her mother signed her up for a preteen yoga class where she first learned the community, and spiritual side of yoga. Since then, yoga was always in the back of her mind. Kat got more serious into her practice in 2013 while she was working full time and going to college in Illinois, as a stress relief. Finally, when Kat moved to Milwaukee she completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training at Core Essence with Shayna and Ali. This training challenged Kat in many ways, including improving her Asana physical practice, as well has deepening her understanding of Pranayama (expanding the breath). Since then Kat has had the opportunity to teach power vinyassa flow, slow-flow, yin, introduction to yoga, and chair yoga for seniors.
