Shannon Cunningham

I began practicing yoga in 2011 when I moved to Milwaukee after grad school, eventually falling in love with the dynamic movement of vinyasa-style flows. Once on my mat, I was able to focus inward and be much more in the present moment than ever before; in turn, this newfound mindfulness practice began to alleviate my anxiety and generally make me a much more chill person. I acquired my 200-hour yoga training certification with Shayne Broadwell and Ali Szarzynski in 2016 in order to share my mindful asana practice with others.

In my classes, I like to keep things interesting with energizing, creative sequencing that is approachable for students at every level of their physical practice, focusing on moving with breath and staying connected to the here and now.
