Interested in the Ashtanga practice but don’t know where to begin? This workshop will introduce you to the Ashtanga method by breaking down the philosophy and first half of the Primary series.

This Ashtanga primary series is cleansing for the body’s lymphatic, digestive, and cardiovascular systems. Other benefits that vary by person may include:

  • internal/emotional strength

  • physical strength

  • flexibility

  • discipline

  • improved sleep

  • desire to improve diet

  • overall sense of well-being and calm

Participants will be guided through a sequence of poses in a manner suitable for all ages and physical fitness . No prior yoga experience is required. Registration includes printed materials.
