The Summer Solstice marks the longest exposure of sunlight the onset of summer, and a shift where daylight hours gradually shortening back to balance between light and dark. The Summer Solstice is a time to honor our connection with the sun, the nourishment it provides, and the fire element's nature to catalyze change. According to the Chandogya Upanishad, the Hita nadi connects the heart of each individual to the sun, making this a time to celebrate by all that recognize this nourishing connection. This summer solstice Yoga Nidra practice will focus on our connection to the sun, fire's ability to burn away impurities, and will leave us transformed, nourished, and energized for the most abundant time of year.

You will be first guided through surya bhedana, a pranayama practice that increase internal heat and digestive power, soothes and invigorates nerves, and cleanses sinuses, and then a Yoga Nidra practice that will journey between an awakened state and a deep sleep of the body. Expect to feel totally relaxed and free from all external situations, circumstances, etc.
